I started Conversations with Folasade as a place to write about the experiences we don’t always know how to explain.
Life between cultures. Language. Work. Identity. Motherhood. Starting again. And the quiet thoughts that often stay with us long after a moment has passed.
I don’t have all the answers. But I believe there is something meaningful in talking honestly about the experiences that shape us.
MY JOURNEY
My journey has taken me across countries, languages, cultures, and different professional worlds. Along the way, I have learned that starting again is rarely just about finding a new place. It is also about finding your voice, rebuilding confidence, and learning how to belong.
Living across cultures has also taught me that some of the most important parts of a journey are not always visible. There are the practical changes — learning a new language, adapting to new systems, building a career, and creating a life in a different place. And then there is the quieter work of figuring out who you are in the process.
